Our History
PT. Mulia Knitting Factory was established by Mr. Pan Cin Kong, the company’s founder. The factory started out as a garment factory
for men’s underwear.
Mr. Max Mulyadi Supangkat, began his career in the company as the second generation. He managed to expand the garment business
by exporting goods to Europe, United States, and Canada.
Mr. Henry Supangkat, the third generation, joined the company. Under his leadership, the company has grown into a textile manufacturer which consists of knitting, dyeing, fabric finishing and garment
A new factory was built in a 70.000 m² land located in Jakarta, Indonesia. More advanced machinery imported from Japan and Europe was purchased, the whole new management and production system were conducted.
To complete the integration development, a spinning factory PT. Mulia Spindo Mills was established as part of PT. Mulia Knitting Factory textile conglomerate.
The fourth generation, Mr. Hanan Supangkat, has since been concentrating on the development, marketing, distribution and trading. He managed to establish 6 new companies to the group. PT. Rider Indonesia, PT.Trans Nusantara Sejati, PT. Mulia Harapan Sentosa, PT. Mulia Prima Sentosa, PT. Mulia Megah Sentosa.
MILITARY MILESTONES
Rider Group is established to unify all companies in one identity to share values and goal
Rider Group enters Indonesian military procurements and started to produce garments for Indonesia Navy and Air Force.
Rider Group broke the records as military supplier to supply more than 320.000 sets of training sets and more than 120.000 sets of martial art uniform in one year to the Indonesian Army
PT. Mitra Sembada Mulia, one of the group new member, managed to win the tender from Indonesian Anti-Terrorist Department to supply mapping and tactical equipment such as VTOL Drone with Mobile Ground Station and Special Force Night Vision Goggles
Rider Group introduces its first body armor with a brand called RDR ARMOUR and managed to receive certificate of acceptance from Indonesia Police and Indonesia Navy. The Group started to produce tactical gear for Indonesian Military and Law Enforcement.
Rider Group is entrusted by many military principles from Europe and USA as exclusive agent to promote their product to Indonesian Military. It ranges from diving equipment to pilot’s gear
PT. Murni Tunasa Unggul, the latest member of the group won the tender to build 14 unit of Military Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats for Indonesia Navy. The boats are successfully tested and delivered to protect Indonesian coasts
